Latino Comic Expo Write-Up

Sorry it took me so long to post this everyone!  I just gradated from college last weekend, so please forgive me for being unbearably busy the past few weeks.
As you all know, at the beginning of the month Cristian, Mario, and I were lucky enough to be invited back to the Latino Comic Expo for it's second year, right here in downtown SF at the Cartoon Art Museum.  We had a lot of fun, on Saturday Cristina and Mario participated in the self-publishing panel like they did last year and we added something new to our table which you can look forward to seeing in the future: Draw Something, LIVE! We covered out table with paper and invited all artists young and old to share their artwork with us on our table, next time you see us at a convention make sure you leave us a drawing.
Hopefully we'll see you at the next convention!
Until next time,
~Angelica P.R.

Web Comic #2

Here's the next installment of our weekly web comic, I'm sorry things are being posted exactly on schedule every week, I'm in the process of writing my history thesis so my time is limited.
Anyway, here's this week's comic: B*tches for Breakfast

How do you respond when someone asks you for coffee in the morning?

See you next week,

Promises, Promises

Finally I have something to deliver!
Welcome to the start of our new web-comic series!
Most of the stories posted will be one shot pieces, though some will use reoccurring characters, there will not be a continuous story line for the most part.
We decided to start posting web comics here in order
to both keep interest in Reluctant Zero up between issues, but also so that the boys(and perhaps some other guest writers) can post their art and ideas that they really want to share, but that don't happen to fit in with the comic book.

We hope you enjoy the first installment of our web-series, this piece was written by Mario T. Lanao and illustrated/inked by Cristian Garcia and is a part of a mini-series called "Butterball Blues".

Please look forward to our next installment of our web-series!

Promises and an Expo

I know I promised you all some new updates earlier this month, unfortunately getting a scanner and having one work turned out to b a bit of a hassle. Hopefully I'll be able to show you something very soon!

We also have an announcement to make, we will be attending the 2nd annual Latino Comic Expo. We went to it last year as well and Cristian and Mario even participated in a panel there, so stay tuned for more info on this year's Latino Comic Expo, where you can meet Cristian and Mario and pick up an issue of the comic!

Long Time, No See!

Hey everyone!

Sorry we disappeared off the face of the Earth there for awhile, life just got in the way a bit, you know how it goes. Even though I haven't been updating the blog, I have been posting on our Twitter more frequently, so if you're interested in more frequent updates from us, make sure you follow us there.

Anyway, I'm here to let you know that Mario, Cristian and I have been working on a few different things since our last post and we should be able to share them with you really soon. I'll be posting some new goodies for you to oggle in the near future, we're really excited to share our new stuff with you and we can't wait to hear what you think!

I'll see you soon~

Happy Holidays Everyone

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Reluctant Zero!
We hope that all of you are enjoying this holiday season with friends and family.

We got a letter from WonderCon a few weeks ago letting us know that we had gotten into the Con for the second year in a row! We were very excited and happy to get the letter, but sadly we will not be able to attend this time around. Due to the move to Anaheim and the due date for the table payment being much too close to Christmas, it simply isn't within our budget to go. Hopefully we will see you ate APE this fall and if we are in a better place financially next year, maybe at WonderCon too!

If you haven't gotten your comic loving friends and family a gift yet don't forget that you can order the comics from us directly on the blog through PayPal!

Happy Holidays,
Angelica P.R.

Thanksgiving and Progress

Hey Everyone!!

Long time no see, how was everyone's Thanksgiving, and if you don't celebrate it, then how was your day(s) off?
We all had a great time with our prospective families and now that it's December were back on track with the comic.

Yesterday Cristian, Mario, and I met up at our local stop, The Dubliner to discuss where the story will be going in the next few issues and we have up to the story line in issue 5 done. Not too shabby for the huge lack of updates here, right? I can't tell you what the issues are about just yet, but maybe if everyone asks real nice Mario will let me reveal some clues!

We hope your December started off well and we'll see you soon!

Till Next Time,
Angelica P.R.
